What is Entitlement Management?
Entitlement management enables self-service access requests through access packages—bundles of resources that users can request. Approval workflows, time-limited access, and automatic expiration ensure that access is appropriate and time-bound. This is particularly useful for project-based access and external collaboration.

Azure AD Entitlement Management creates access packages containing groups, applications, and SharePoint sites. Catalogs organize packages by department or project. Connected organizations enable external user access requests. Access reviews ensure ongoing appropriateness.
