Terms of Service

By accessing or using TrueConfig ("Service"), operated by Poverud IT ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

"Service"

The TrueConfig platform, including all software, APIs, documentation, and related services provided by Poverud IT.

"Tenant"

A Microsoft 365 organizational instance connected to TrueConfig for governance monitoring and configuration management.

"User"

Any individual who accesses or uses the Service, including administrators, security personnel, and authorized team members.

"Customer Data"

All data, including Microsoft 365 tenant configuration data, that is submitted to or collected by the Service on behalf of the Customer.

TrueConfig provides Microsoft 365 governance and security monitoring services, including:

• •Continuous configuration monitoring and compliance assessment
• •Drift detection from security baselines
• •Privileged access management visibility
• •Remediation guidance and automation capabilities
• •Audit logging and compliance reporting

The Service operates by connecting to your Microsoft 365 tenant via Microsoft Graph API with your explicit consent. We access only the data necessary to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

To use the Service, you must create an account using Microsoft Entra ID single sign-on. You agree to:

• •Provide accurate and complete registration information
• •Maintain the security of your account credentials
• •Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• •Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

The Service is offered under subscription plans with varying features and pricing. By subscribing:

• •You authorize recurring charges to your payment method
• •Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• •Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance
• •You may cancel at any time; access continues until period end

Trial periods, where offered, allow evaluation of the Service. At trial end, you must subscribe to continue access.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• •Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• •Access tenants without proper authorization
• •Interfere with or disrupt the Service infrastructure
• •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts
• •Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• •Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

You retain ownership of all Customer Data. You grant us a limited license to use Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service.

The Service, including its software, design, documentation, and branding, is owned by Poverud IT and protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes during your subscription term.

Feedback you provide about the Service may be used by us without obligation to you.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. The Service provides governance visibility and recommendations; you remain responsible for your security decisions.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Poverud IT from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• •Your use of the Service
• •Your violation of these Terms
• •Your violation of any third-party rights

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may cancel your subscription through the Service dashboard or by contacting support.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that may harm other users or the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Customer Data will be deleted within 30 days unless legal obligations require longer retention.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Norway. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect.

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
